When we passed Montceau les Mines, we just moored up on the beautiful, new pontoons. No-one stopped us, and we had access in and out of the port area. We were all by ourselves. No services were connected. But we had a peaceful night!! Apart from the ducks, who were already leaving their marks everywhere.

Asked at the vnf control office in Montceau about the new Port and they have no idea when it will be open. It looks pretty well finished and there should be room for some barges on the pontoons and possibly on the wall where two electric points have been installed. No boats at all in the town.

The small port at Blanzy is completely full and boats are moored above and below the port on the r.b.
It seems they are from Montceau les Mines where the port is being redeveloped.
We have managed to moor for the evening outside the garage downstream of the bridge on r.b. Good depth and tied to road barrier supports.
Not sure how long this situation will continue will ask in Montceau tomorrow.
