Google Haslar Marina Gosport and go to Maps; we were inside the hammerhead below the Trinity lightship. It was special.

Ideally around Hamble, Portsmouth, Gosport - not Medway/Rochester way

We had a very happy winter aboard in Haslar marina Gosport on our 20m Piper 3 years ago, moored on a hammerhead closer to the shipping channel than to land. We are still honorary members of the Haslar Happy Hour Yacht Club (the antidote to yacht clubs) and go back to visit when we can.

We spent 12 months (live aboard, 29m luxemotor) at Wicor Marine, Fareham, near Portsmouth. Scott Waddington is the contact there.

I believe there is also a good sized Luxe in Ramsgate, as Balliol says do you have an area in mind? When you say South Coast do you actually mean coastal or does Medway/Rochester provide the solution you desire?

I have seen residential barges in Brighton Marina, Salterns on the Hamble, at Gweek Quay, Cornwall and at Plymouth (Better Boating at Landrake???) The south coast is a long place!

Balliol.

Does anyone know of any residential moorings available on the South Coast? It's for a 24.8m Belgian Sptiz barge. Any thoughts/ideas welcome.
