Hi, I have to declare an interest. My son, Michael owns and operates South West Boat Transport Contact: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. www.boat-transportation.co.uk/ They have three tractor units plus a range of trailers and deliver around mainland Europe as well as the UK and Ireland. A useful tip when dealing with any haulier is to have flexibility because they may be able to work your boat movement in with other deliveries. That way they keep their trucks laden and can offer you a better price. Good luck, Brendan

I don't think you need a boat specialist.
It sounds small enough to go on any 40 foot low loader. The weight won't be a problem either.

I'd ring round local heavy hauliers, including plant companies close to either the loading point or deliver place.

I'll let you have a name of a Dutch outfit that has done good work for friends, probably tomorrow.
