TOPIC: VNF website

VNF website 10 Feb 2020 02:14 #113717

Hi Judy

yes my old link to that excellent map no longer works - sometimes I hate change.

A search on "carte" shows a lot of broken links. I assume the mapping sections have not joined the new site (yet?).

The avis a la battelerie search page is there though if of any use:

Can someone help me navigate the new VNF website? I am trying to locate the map that lets you select/click an area/canal and it then brings up, on the right hand side of the map, a list of all the AVIS notices in current force for that area. You click on the AVIS number to get the further detail etc. The map itself colour-codes the waterways for closures etc. It allowed you to search for current and/or future “chomages”. It certainly used to exist, but all I can find now is a table/list ... I know there have been postings on the DBA Facebook page about it (indeed, I participated in the postings 😝) but I don’t think it was finally resolved at that point ... 😄

Thanks in advance!
