Hi Chris,

I can certainly recommend the boat yard, it is a family run business by Klaas & Thijs who cannot be more helpful.

Over the last few years they have invested in the infrastructure including new shot blasting shed and now the crane. They also do full repaints and their work is to a high standard.

They have outside and undercover storage but it does get busy especially during the winter, so book early.

If you need anymore info, drop me a line.

Hi Chris. All I can say is that we had planned to take out 13 metre cruiser out of the water this summer and to store her ashore for three months whilst we did a road trip to Alaska and the cost of lift out would have been 175 Euros including pressure wash off and chocking off and 175 to go back in. Storage ashore in the summer would have been 200 Euros/month but the boat would be secure. Thijs and his brother run the boat yard having started off renting canoes in the town. Very helpful and friendly. Any one wanting more information can email him. Thereare large sheds for inside storage but there is a waiting list for that. Winter storage (October - end of April) ashore costs Length x Breadth x 14 Euros. You can find pictures of the crane on Facebook - look for Watersportcentrum Buitenbeentje Diksmuide

Jill, can you tell me anything more about this please, I'd like to put it in Blue Flag before the end of the week. Thanks
