TOPIC: Ireland bans marked gas oil

Ireland bans marked gas oil 28 Jan 2020 20:15 #113290

Thanks Roger.

Just to be clear, the ban applies to "the use of marked gas fuel as a propellant by private pleasure craft ....", so not to its use for central heating or generating electricity on board.

Please find attached an Irish Marine notice for the banning of 'marked gas oil', that is Red diesel (UK) or Green Diesel (ROI), which came in to force from 01/01/2020.
