After the Canal des Vosges was closed due to lack of water last summer VNF decided to go ahead and do the work that had been scheduled for late autumn, requiring a closure (chomage) of the canal. Reopening was previewed for October 16th. Work was not finished till then so there is a new avis (FR/2022/04787) that states the canal to remain closed until November 11th or further notice between locks 24 an 34 on the Saone side. I guess we'll have to wait for next year to cruise the whole length of the Canal des Vosges
