Thanks Stuart
This morning the VNF said maybe tomorrow. But that’s what they said yesterday. As you say, more rain forecast so it may be a good four or five days before we can get through. Luckily, we don’t have to be back to SJDL until about the 20th.

Hi Greg, I am further down the Saone near St Jean de Losne. The upper reaches have closed a few times recently because of high rainfall. They close the guard gates to protect the canalised bits. When the backlog of water works its way down river it will all open again. There is more rain forecast for Wednesday so it may be a good few days before everything is clear.

The Petite Saone has been closed due to flooding at Port-sur-Saone since about 28/06/24 with no definite answer from the local VNF about when it will re-open.
I understand that the Saint-Albin tunnel downstream from here might also be closed.
If anyone has any news or updates on the situation or nearby areas it would certainly be appreciated.
