High Water levels Saone Basin was created by Paul Hayes
The Saone is closed due to flooding just above the junction with the Canal du Champagne junction .

Below there the level is above the first prohibited navigation mark. so for ALL PLEASURE VESSELS Navigation is suspended.  Although the river is not closed as Commercial barges can still (just) navigate.

The way it's raining I think it will soon be over the second mark.

There's a huge amount of debris in the water, which is flowing fast. Just waiting to take a propeller blade off.

The access causeway at Port Royal is under water.

Levels are still rising. Many quays are under water.

The port at Corre is +3 metres, the campsite is under water.

The Rhone au Rhin is closed.

The Saone below SJdL is only open for large commercial barges.

I'll update when conditions improve.
