Somme Canal

The website sommeenpoche.fr/ works fine for booking a passage of works. 
​​​​​​But one has to go back and edit the entry for the actual times required. 
The app also works for initial booking but last week didn't show a booking in My Steps to edit, this now seems fixed.

So, the small print is worth reading and email sent.

geolocalisation of the app stores strikes again! 
Responsible people need to submit to international stores, we had the same issue with Navi initially, but they responded rapidly once advised. Problem solved.
Do you now who is responsible for the app?

Strange. If anyone is on the Somme, it would be worth mentioning to the PCE and the Amiens Tourist Office. They might not be aware of the issue.
We used the app last time and it was excellent. And, we may be back this summer. 

I downloaded it from the Apple Store, with my U.K. (ID) sim and it made no objection … until I tried to use it 😆

Never mind, one of those “it would be nice to have” moments 😜

It is odd. I'm in France with a Free SIM and I'm now told "not available in your region". But I did install it a few years ago. I might have sideloaded the .apk file with a UK SIM - option I think only on an Android - and it has retained all my data and ship data since. 

There is a bicentennary celebration of Ecl Amiens 30/31 Aug and there is an Amiens lock issue currently preventing navigation. 

 

Relaying a message from Paddington V, currently on the way to Amiens from Long: there is indeed a short-term stoppage at Amiens, expected to last 2-3 days 😏

I was able to download the app, but it remains at the opening screen. I turned off my VPN but it made no difference. Any suggestions?

I’m not on the Somme (although I am in France), but I am interested in seeing what the app does 😆

As Canadians, we were unable to download the app, so we called and made an appointment every time we moved. ±33 674836069
Cappy had a closure on August 15 for a party, but other than that, we were just on the Somme and came from Amiens without problems. 

The app Somme en Poche which has everything including booking passage through locks etc.

Hi,

Does anyone know where the stoppage is on the Somme.  PC Navigo and the VNF itinerary calculator both cannot get me from Peronne to Ameins, but I cannot find any stoppages on the VNF weekly update that refers to the Somme.  Can someone advise what I should be looking for in the future and where the problem is now.
